My photo of a DC 3, C 47, Dakota !!!!!! with it’s wheels tucked up, I see some benefit from “hanging” aircraft now ? Hope this helps a little. Keith.

Jamie and Ref, if you drive past the memorial, for maybe 1 mile, the cockpit is in the corner of the car park at a small group of former airfield buildings used for light industry, if you get there you can’t miss it ! Keith.

A “dH” advertisement from 1943, I think the small print will help ! Keith.

bazv, interesting thread, It happens I have a friend whose “worktime” is spent travelling the world searching for, and researching, locations for film company’s (who nice is that) he is out and about in all corners.
When we contact next I will pick his brain for you, at the mo he is not answering his mobile ! but he could be in Outer Mongolia or deepest Peru ! he may be in touch via the web. If so will ask some questions.
Being local to here he may answer questions about Holkham. This could take some time ! Keith.

Crikey, this thread is almost as old as me ! HG was a regular visitor to Stansted in the early 60’s (don’t know why) I seem to recall an early V tailed bonanza, and certainly the cessna 310, I recall an early aero comander as well, but maybe wrong on that one ? Keith.
