Once again thank you all for your nice comments ….

Nice shots Keith..any information on the Fokker white tale in background of the third shot ??
Sorry for the delay Steve, the white tail F100 is F-GNLI, came from the spray shops in early May, I can’t remember what scheme, if any, it arrived in ? has been sitting there ever since ??
Keith. 🙂
Very nice “Eh” nice to see others views of NWI !! Were these taken at the gate at 09 end near to the Stirling hangers ??
Keith.
Now I see why we don’t get too many EZY’s at NWI ! You have most of them at BRS ….. ??:diablo:

A few more slightly tweaked photos from the day … who can recognise the forumites in this set ??
Keith.

Many thanks to you for your comments gentlemen … A few different shots ….

What an enjoyable day ! Very well done to all concerned with the show. I was, for some reason, expecting a small local airshow with a few hundred attending …. How wrong was I ….. having to queue for a few minutes to get in was a giveaway …. there were thousands of people, not crowded though, lots of space around the public area.
With a £10 entry fee, a walk around the static and flying lineups before the display for only £2 and the supurb Air Cadets burgers at only £2.50 I don’t think anyone can complain.
The three hour flying display was smoothly run and flowing very well, the weather did deteriate slightly towards the end but nothing too serious. there was a lot to do for those not into the aircraft, A good display of related vehicles from many eras, a few demos from some of the firefighters was good, kept some younger people spellbound !
A couple of points noted for the future …. very good use of many large vegetable boxes as rubbish bins … Didn’t see any programmes for sale ? was there one ? the PA sounded very well qualified but was difficult to hear at the crowd line !
So all in all an excellent day out (photos in the ‘airshow photos’ thread)
Thank You very much, hope to be there again.
Keith.
And a few more … on the floor !

Thats it sorted ! Will be there ! Myself and Mr Nikon will do our best to promote the event to the world via these forums etc ….. But is the airfield signposted from Woodbridge. A12 ish ????
Keith.
Keith Sowter posted this very interesting item on Norwich Spotters earlier showing a practise over Norfolk today …..
Thank you for that video clip, watched it twice, the second time with tears in my eyes ! firstly from my sad memories of the events of that day, secondly from the great work you are doing with what remains, but most of all the lovely sight of so many young people working on the project ….. so refreshing !
Keith.
Sorry James ! No idea what any of the protrusions are all over the aircraft, may be a question someone from modern military forum could help with ??
Keith.
