My Chill Pill !
Following a rather hectic work schedule this week I took a ride to the coast !
Sat down, looked at, and listening to the sounds of views like this !! well you just feel like jelly …. not a problem ….. sorted ….. bring on next week !

MMMmmm … The only ‘nose intake’ jet I can think of, still in the UK at the moment, is a certain F-86 Sabre, is it still at Duxford ?? Has it had an outing in the recent fine weather ??
Keith.
Jet Provost ??
Rob. Excellent ! so nice to see some blue sky and supurb photos of aircraft, the detail in those is so fine !
Keith.
If only we could travel back to Prestwick 1960 ? courtesy of Colin Lourie.
Keith.

Eddie. To complicate the issue a little more, the log book shows this mans last flight with 15 Sqdn as 03-09-44 to Eindoven in ME695 “R” and return to Mildenhall.
Does that narrow things down a little ? or make the water muddier ?
Keith.
Well … The photo is from Mildenhall 15 Sqdn 1944 … from the logbook of the navigator it could be any of the following ….
LL859 Q
LL854 S
ME695 R
ND958 H
LM238 T
LL923 C
LM473 P
ME849 F
LD475 M
But another photo of the same day with a little more of the aircraft may help ????

Eddie. Yes I think so ? hang in there a few minutes, I will look ? Keith.
Is this the same thing ? any help ? Keith.

WOW ! Thank you all for the supurb discussions ongoing here, as has been said I did think it would be simple ???? and yes it is rather complex with so many different ways of looking at similar subjects ??
I cannot help with any of this but will enjoy all of the input, thank you again.
And thank you for keeping it a discussion between friends not a fire fight !
Keith.
Another pair from Norwich ……. Keith.

civilspotter. Thank you very much for those supurb scans ! what a good cross section of LHR traffic in there, as others have said, another batch at some time would be a bonus for us !
Thank You.
Keith.
Just one for now …. Keith.

I think if you look closer No 6 is a dH heron !
Supurb photos ! Thank you for sharing.
Keith.
