Deano. Thank you for your insight into ‘the splashdown’ maybe in future I should point my lens toward the point of touchdown ? but only if you promise to touchdown on the threshold of 27 😀 and suffer the longer taxy run
Keith.
Deano. Just love your descriptions of the landing qualities of the Dash 8, from my last two posts, we have had “garden shed” and “shopping trolley” so I rather assume it is exciting … ish ??? 😀
threedeltamax. Thank you for your comment, the blue line going forward below the aircraft also has a green outline below the cockpit area, seen better in the photo below, Is it just me or are there more ‘olympic rings’ on the vertical stabiliser ???? or is that just an age thing ????
Keith.

Very very nice selection, photo 2 has my vote, a lot of thought there !
Keith.
cgull123. Welcome to the forum ! Posting photos into forums can be a nightmare for some people, for others it seems easy ! Believe me for the first time it is that nightmare, but following a lot of failures !!! it will, “oneday soon” become second nature ????
I have taken one of your photos, passed it through my photo processing programme, tweaked it a little, loaded it into ‘PHOTOBUCKET’ (a name you should try to come to terms with) and I rather hope below you will have a different view of your own photo ???? There is a lot of help available within the photographic areas on most forums to get you going with photobucket etc ….
Keith.

I think every one of those is just supurb ! The Vampire shot could easily be entered into their competition IMHO ?
Keith.
I realy like the first BA photo in the second batch, for me that has everything going on !
Keith.
The last photo ! wow it’s so nice to see the lancaster with some light below it !!! Supurb.
Keith.
EGTC. Thank you for that nice comment, it was a good day !
92fis. Thank you also ! again it was a day with so much going on, from a small collection of aircraft !
The Blue Max. I have only five in my photo file, as below ….
This one did not display ?
Different views of the four which did the display !

A few seconds from touchdown ……

Thanks for that Rob ! We do get a fair amount of Flybe movements here, but not as many as you I suspect ?
Keith.
Manston Airport. Sorry, I did not know that ! What a wonderful tribute to all of those people.
91Regal. Thank you for your comments, I’snt there an old saying …. “from the mouths of children comes the truth” or something like that ?
Thank you Anna, for all of your nice comments, I struggle to achieve your photographic standards !
And a few more for all !
Keith.

Manston Airport. James, yes that was a tweaked photo from today, there was no sight of any oil smoke etc from Sally B today ! I rather think the smoke from the engines was an advertising (for donations) thing ? below is an untweaked photo from today, with the same smoke trail ….. Keith.

Yak 11 Fan. I rather hope this is the Auster you refer to ?

Thanks guys, Yes it was so good to see Sally B back where she belongs …. no sign of any smoke from the engines ? ….

We also had an aerobatic Piper Cherokee !
And the WW1 replicas put up a supurb display ….
And then I tweaked this one ?????
