Supurb find pagen01, continueing with the 1951 theme, a google search gave me this confirmation of my earlier post, from SAC 7th Wing history 1949 – 1951.

I am certain my ex father in law told me that B-36’s rotated to Sculthorpe on a regular basis, but almost always flying at night ??? He lived in a village a few miles away below the approach ???? Can anybody confirm ????
