Its seems as with all myths the myth around the “Triangle” is based on some shread of fact,The area the Bermuda triangle covers is known for dangerous waters and little unpredictable place weather wise, they believe many ships may have been sunk by gas pockets which make the water around the ship lighter and eventually sink the ship,The landscape has led to many Aircraft losses as there is little to use as a datum point and its easy to got disorientated this in effect is what has ment to have happened to the lost Avengers

Well done to OFMC for putting such a big smile on my face over the last couple of years!

I agree they were amazing and something so different i would have loved to have seen the last show at Wannaka but at least i did see there last European show at Duxford and that memory will stick with me for years.

It was supposed to be at my local show at Finningley one year, but for one reason or another (weather I think) was unable to display. Never saw that in the air, what a shame!

(still, I saw dozens of Vulcan displays which always left me grinning from ear to ear 😀 😀 )

Its the Blackbird for me too,i saw the Vulcan many times saw the LA9 twice and saw the Sunderland once the SR71 never disaplayed at my local show Biggin Hill as far as i remember so never saw her.

Your right Dave there has only been two flyable Blenhiems since the 1980s,The first only flew for around a month before it was wrecked, the second is still sitting at Duxford awaiting attention to put her back where she belongs in the sky,She is a lovely aircraft and much missed already but at least she should fly again sometime.
As to piece of cake i am going to buy it on DVD this week haven’t seen it since it was first on the TV.
