Yes, and do you remember the excellent, beautiful display called ‘Knights of the Air’, where Sir Tim Wallis and Sir Kenneth Hayr flew together? Tim in the Spit and Ken in the Yak52. It amazed me to see the two very different types fly so well together.

Sir Kenneth was a great pilot and his loss was a huge loss to Airshows in general,Sadly i was there at Biggin Hill when he was lost.

Its been a great pity this situation occured and its disapointing that 2 people had such a clash here,We all sometimes have differences of oppinions its a passionate game loving aviation whether you be a pilot,owner,restorer,photographer,volunteer, fan etc but i don’t see why it should be personal after all we all got the same intrest.
I don’t envy you Steve i am quiet proud you chose to spend your money the way you do,i am at the other end of the spectrum as a airshow goer and as i see it we all need each other,i don’t feel you really need to say sorry for what you said Steve and don’t know why Kittyhawk acted the way he did as he had made made many worthwhile posts in the past from what i remember.
I hope this will be the last we see of this and i hope the forum can come back stronger than ever after its update,i also look forward to meeting many of you this year.

I think the CURTISS-WRIGHT HISTORICAL ASSOC is restoring the P-36 for the TFC. The wings have been sent to Pioneer Aero in NZ.

I thought they sold this Aircraft due to there being only 2 engines in flyable condition it was not practical to fly in UK.

Firstly i don’t think it matters if its Bin Laden or Al-zawahri who is the main evil behind Al qaeda all organisations governments and terror groups have there leaders but its not them who worry me the most,After all if there were to be caught Al qaeda would carry on and still be as dangerous,They are the figure heads of the organisation and have the final say on what they do but its the ones below them that plan what evil they do and put the people who do the attacks in place,either way i think it war on terror will go on and on through our lifetimes sadly.
As to the Nuclear threat this has been mentioned many times before it is a real threat but not one we can do much against i feel its better to be aware but live our lives the way we are ment to and not be intimidated by what can happen.
