I heard the comfortably numb song ruined today too,there should be rules against it,If its not the pop idles(idols my bum idols can write play and SING!) or fame acedemy lot ruining songs its boom boom dj’s or talentless teenage pop acts,it pains me to hear great songs so ruined.

There is still great music out there bands like starsalior and snow patrol have impressed me lately,and stereophonics and travis have managed to do there own songs and when they do covers they are good versions,i don’t listen to much chart music now and my radio listening is mainly Virgin and sometimes radio 2 when Bob Harris is on,and Jools Holland is worth a watch on TV and sometimes a listen on the radio,His TV show has showcased a few new good acts in its time.

One thing i am glad to see is Rock is making a come back and bands like the Darkness are bound to do good for this even if they are just a fun band,Its just be nice to see music in the chart that is not just for teenagers and is not cover versions.

Scored 12 but then i don’t drive so can hardly answer that question fairly.

I think you will find that Norman lees painted the Fargo Express im wash off film paint, cant remember why but I know he was Sh!!!in his self about getting it wet , im sure it flew at one of the Intrepid north weald airshows and my even of been at Orsett.

It did fly in Fargo colours at Duxford too,got feeling it was at the Legends i show but can’t be sure though.

Fair comment Mark 12 but i can only go by what was said at the time i am more intrigued now by this spit and its ownership.

Why the hell should I not comment? Life goes on after all, There seems to be a feeling on this forum that anyone enquiring about an incident should not do so until an investigation has been carried out, Why?? Is it not human nature to be inquisitive? especially at the scene of an accident? but on here there seem to be very few folks interested in the technical side of things, I work in the Warbird industry & have to be interested in what goes wrong mechanically as then we can check items or equipment on aircraft we work on BEFORE there is a problem with them.

One of the aircraft I work on also has a Griffon engine therefore I have more than a passing interest in the accident. I’m not interested in apportioning blame on the pilot, after all, IF it was his error he has paid for it with his life & there can be no greater penalty than that.

I am interested to know what happened not out of just curiosity but professional interest to be able to do all in my power to stop it happening again. So, please don’t ever tell me I should not be asking questions when lives can be at risk!
What ever the outcome of the enquiry one life WAS lost unnecessarily!

I am sure everyone has there oppinions of what the possible cause of the accident was myself included,but i can’t see need for questions that lead to rumour and blame,The official report is the only thing that should count after all they have all the evidence possible in front of them to make there judgements WE DON’T,so please spare a thought for the families of the crew it must be hard enough for them already without have more rumours about there loved ones.

She flew at Biggin Hill Battle of Britain show in 2000 even displaying before show started got feeling John Romain was pilot that day although not sure.
