Its good that inteligence is able to discover these threats and safety is the most inportant thing no matter what,we all know there is much going on behind the scenes and is makes me feel safer that our security services are doing such things.

Sadly He is a sad pathetic man in my view pity to see such a legend in this way but its self inflicted,he has been given all the breaks and the help yet he still do i again what a waste.Personally i would love to see a cleaned up sober Best who no longer in this condition but him and Gazza seem not to be abe to help themselves,it is a illness he has but he has been given chances a lot of people don’t get thats what upsets me.

I concur with dhfan; this was definately on the wall of the OFMC office when we visited in October, although I can’t recall seeing it anywhere else. Can’t help wondering whether Hanna Junior had a hand in it… 😉

I grew up near Biggin Hill during the 70s and 80s and in those days we often saw more than just a Learjet or anything flying club,Was taken to a airshow at Biggin in 1977 at only 3years old and then in 1979 when King hussien of Jordan covered me mum and dads pizza with grass with his helecopter,My first real memories came from 1982 when saw Ray Hanna display MH434 i had been helping my uncle make a Matchbox spitfire and was so excited i was going to see a real one,i was left amazed by how Ray flew and went away that day having found a new hero.

When at school we often had aircraft from airshow at Biggin flying over us i remember a Lightning formation when i was around 5 and the Red Arrows always used to fly over the school if they left on the Monday after the show,During the 80s i went to several airshows at Biggin and when turned 16 in 1990 i managed to go Biggin every year up until now,Warbirds always intrested me and i always was reading books on the Battle of Britain and WW2 and did have the privilege to chat to a ex Blenhiem pilot who even in his 80s went to Redhill airfield every day to help out there men like him and so many others help save our country many never made it home and for that reason i want younger people than me to hear these stories and see these aircraft and will do anything to help this happen.

In the London area there is loads of small good bands,i have 2 friends both in bands and i try help out and be involved in both of them but with both bands have members around my age(Near30) i guess local is all it will be.
What i have noticed is as some of the big name gigs ive been to there are a lot of young people there even at the Rolling Stones at Twickenham last year,so some younger people are into better music,I am looking forward to hopefully getting a chance to see the RHCP play this year and reckon there crowd be a all ages one.
