It kept low all the time, which was nice because there was a low cloud base that day.

My question is: who would have been the pilot that day? IIRC, the date was somewhere in April.

Sounds Like Ray Hanna but Mark was more than equally capable of a display like that and often did!,I remember a few years ago at Biggin Hill on arrivals day seeing Ray do a superb display the airfield was quiet maybe a few hundred people at most(if that)it was like Ray flew just for me and my mates and in a way he did as he hardly needed to practice!Moments like that are priceless and unforgetable.

I am neither for or against what he said partly as i know many people feel that way currently the difference is if you or i say it in a pub its not a big deal but if a “b”list ex MP says it,its headline news he is not inportant in anyway and makes his money out of other peoples dirty laundary which i hate,but he is entitled to his own views however stupid they maybe.

Lovely Jet hope get see one again oneday i was knee high to a grasshopper when last saw one(which is just a bit higher than the tomcat in that pic earlier in thread:D )Another old jet i miss is the F1-11 been years since saw one of them burn the sky.

Pete and Dud were a superb double act mostly because Peter Cook had such a style and vision about him and was able to improvise and leave Dud in fits of giggles,not in to there Derek and Clive stage as to me it was just bit too vulgar at times,Laurel and Hardy were completly different double act and are timeless,i would rate other comedians such as Dave Allen,Billy Connolly and the late Bob Monkhouse as the best stand up comedians in my view,ps i love Jethro too,and Alan Davies,and Lee Hurst are worth seeing live.

Yep thats a fact coz his manager did’nt think it was worth touring the uk,all the same we never shot him :D.
