I went as a friend wanted to see the Harrier display. He had worked on them in the early 1990s and was long over due seeing one fly again.
At least he got his wish and saw one airbourne and 3 on the ground, So in a way it was not so bad.

The glider accident was scary and I really feared the worst, I am glad it appears he will be fine.
The Hurricane and Catalina displaying in the murk was well recieved although I do agree with Johnr is was not nice when they disapeared out of view when turning. The Hurricane in peter Teichmann’s hands was undoubtably the she star of the show but more than part of me was glad when he departed safely.

Feel sorry for the organisers, So much effort and the weekend ruined by some of the worst weather going.

Like the photos a lot the conditions there were not great on Sunday for photography.

I understand what you mean about the BBMF flying their fighters very conservatively, But I tend to feel this is not such a bad thing.
We have many fine warbird pilots putting Spitfires and Hurricanes through their paces including I would add John Romaine to the list you give for Spitfire pilots and Stu Goldspink is rather good in a Hurricane.

For me the films that can do that are as follows,

The Green mile- hard to explain why it just does
The Shawshank Redemption- The whole film is stunning snd emotional
Ray- Just the end when you think what he achieved in his life.

As a kid Kes used to make me cry, Doesn’t now but still a good film.

These are amazing Moggy, Kind of haunting too. When I see a old building I always think what it has been through these photos show these thoughts in many ways.

This for me is another nail in the coffin of F1.
Both Drivers should of lost the points scored and Ferrari should of been docked points. Of course neither of these will happen and this is why Formula 1 is a total farce.

It should still be a great sport and on the face of it, with 2 British champions and a wealth of good drivers it still is a good sport. The trouble is politics and favouritism of Ferrari that sport itself takes a second place.

Big respects to Ryanair and MOL for yet again making sure they are the airline being talked about.
MOL knows that standing on airlines is extremely unlikely to ever be allowed but he also knows the press will lap up the story as will internet forums.
There for loads of free publicity for ryanair, Clever marketing I say.

Also anyone notice these so called annoucements came just as Ryanair say they will charge more for baggage etc, Its a clever diversion to creat another story whilst your changing conditions of travel as it takes peoples mind off of the facts.

Ryanair run by MOL is a very slick outfit who know how to play the game, Love them or hate them you have to admire them in a way.

Its interesting how Miss Demeanour’s paint job divides people so much I personaly feel that Miss D with Johnathon Whaley is one of the most unmissable acts on the airshow scene in my oppinion, And I adore the paint job.
