I was not overly impressed with the episode with Bruce Forsyth as have not bothered since then.

As to American comedy in general I liked Frasier, I like “The Big bang theory” although I am not sure why.

Overall I just feel British older comedy shows were better written.

I feel sorry for her children and family and have to say it is sad and sickening that anyone can rejoice in her death. She made some very bad choices in her life that in the end killed her and in the long run its her children who have lost more than anyone can imagine. If there is any rejoicing in that I certainly can not see it.

Its a difficult one to expect the family to pay back the loan but I guess legally they are obliged to.
Its a sad sorry mess for sure.

I have owned a fair few bridge style cameras now, and shutter lag varies greatly but the newer ones are must better.
I used to technique of taking the shot just before the aircraft was totally in the frame, Then most of the time the aircraft was in frame by time the picture was taken.
It did not always work but did get some nice photos, Also i aimed at more take off and landing shots if doing jets as was easier to catch them then.

Ironically when i got my DSLR last spring it took time to learn not to do the same thing and I did at first get a lot of half in frame aircraft for a bit, I am getting better now though 😀 .

Erm…duxfordhawk mentioned nothing about a formation… Besides, it’s a wishlist and people can wish for whatever they want!

I think what I wrote may of confused Janie, My list was intended to be any of them appearing even one would make me a very happy bunny. I do not think the list is unrealistic, Wishful maybe though.

In interest does anyone know if Pino Valenti’s Fiat G-59B still flies, I have been through Parma where she was based but never saw sight nor sound of her.

    RIP Harry.
I particularly remember his commentaries on Frank Bruno fights, The man had such a passion for sport and that came out in everything he did.
We are losing the voices of sport and sadly the new ones to not endear as much in my opinion.

Just in curiousity why is it that many people want to see jets at Flying Legends?.

There are plenty of shows catering for jets during the season, Including Kemble,Cosford,Biggin Hill, RIAT and all the other Duxford shows.
OK none of those shows have a totally jet lineup, But all of them will give you something historic jet wise, right up to the modern age.

The thing that makes Flying legends different from these other shows is it the only one to totally specialise in piston engined aircraft, And this is what gives it its unique atmosphere.
Adding jets to this line up would I feel ruin the show rather than enhance it.

I would much rather see a jet version of the legends show to cover the jet era, Maybe from the early jets right up to the Eurofighter Typhoon etc.

As to my wish list, I echo the sentiments of a safe show with great weather, It would be nice to see any of the following as a “Star” item

    P-38 Lightning
    Zero
    FW-190
    Mig-3

Either way I will be happy to just be there to enjoy the show.

I say please no retro fitting, It would be lovely to see the 2 seater Buchon out and about one day though, In Spanish colours not a pseudo Battle of Britain scheme.
Anyone fancy making a replica two seater Bf 109?
