The Muppet Christmas Carol. Several times on rotation, since the youngsters love it.

Incidentally, I’ve only ever seen the first Star Wars film, way back at the cinema when it was released. I was young but I enjoyed it, although I’ve never gone out of my way to watch the others despite the fact that I’ve never actually been around when they appeared on TV.

    AIDS?

But I’m sure the ‘and drugs and rock’n’roll’ bit would make it more of a mass infliction rather a solo thing, although this was the man who recently decided to change his drink of choice from whisky and coke to vodka on health grounds

Looks like a bit of old metal to me. Can’t imagine getting much for it off a scrappy…

    Marlborough? In Devon?

    Ah, near Kingsbridge!

And for you to say that your grandmother ‘loved’ in Devon is giving away a little too much information…

Went to Tesco just now, got a £15 2kg duck for 30p and a £45 10 person turkey for 99p, lots of mince (at least five 500g trays that I can see from here), pork chops and joints (at least six of each), sausage stuffing (lots), chilled party food (at least 10+ packs), cream (three 600ml tubs of double cream, five of those horrible tasting cream and booze mixtures that the wife likes, and a couple of whipping cream tubs), bread, three 2.5kg bags of spuds, carrots, onions, sprouts (ugh!), swede, turnip, parsnips, cauliflowers (fresh, with several days of the best before left), broccoli (ditto), two 4l cartons of milk, etc, and paid the grand total of…£7.04. Only thing I paid full price for was gerbil food. In fact got so much reduced stuff I decided not to go to Asda since there wouldn’t be any room in the freezer.

So what makes me angry? Over stocking by the commercial sector: little wonder Tesco is currently not in a good financial state.

Pass the mind bleach! I just had a mental picture of Corbyn and Abbott’s discarded undercrackers on a seedy bedroom floor somewhere.

An East German B&B floor, after a day on a motorbike together in the late 70s?

    Yuk.

Well then, you seem to have your left-wing knickers in a knot now don’t you.

    Merry Christmas.:love-struck:

Sorry, don’t wear left wing knickers, knotted or not.
