Is it?

If anyone gets a long range forecast right it’s luck and guesswork. We could do just as well.

Even I can do it…
It will be slightly warmer around the middle of the year, getting cooler at and after the end of the year, with occasional seasonal variations. It will rain, but when it isn’t raining it will be overcast with occasional sunny spells of varying length. To be on the safe side always carry an umbrella, wear sandals, Bermuda shorts and a down-stuffed puffa jacket with a fur hat. Always.

It’s not just the stupid ones, it’s the amount of signs. 80% could be removed. Near me I can think of three that goes from 30mph zone to 60mph zone, seems rasonable you may think, but you only have about 20 yards before you get to a tee-juntion and have to stop.

Saves them putting up the signs on a road which already has that speed limit in force? Gets you into a 60mph frame of mind?

Oh yes: please copy and paste 10,000 times the correct spelling of reasonable and junction.;o)

4:10:43 Foulness Island The body of a German airman was found in the sands E of Foulness Point. Believed to have been a member of the crew of plane shot down on 8:10:43

Those dates look a little suspect to me…found before he was shot down? Are they the right way round?

Plenty of things revealed by the recent extreme weather. Old forests, ancient human footprints, tree roots…

And there are plenty of old wrecks around Cornwall, some of them not walking around the streets blitzed on cider and illegal substances…

Your generosity of spirit is warming.

Its like the old joke – teacher asks if there are any idiots in his class and could they come and stand out at the front. Eventually boys gets up and stands next to him; teacher asks if he really believes he is an idiot and the boy says no, but he didn’t want the teacher to be standing there alone… Or something.
Haven’t heard it in a long while so have forgotten the nuances, but you get the drift.

And talking of guns being returned…

Police returned guns to Surrey farm where women were shot

Watchdog says it is considering investigation after police say confiscated shotguns were returned last July

Police firearms officers returned a number of shotguns to a dog-breeding farm in Surrey seven months before the suspected double murder of a mother and daughter on Sunday.

The police watchdog said it was considering launching an investigation after Surrey police confirmed they had confiscated several licensed shotguns during a search of the farm in Farnham, Surrey, in May last year – but had returned the firearms in July.

Detectives are investigating whether one of the shotguns was used in the fatal shooting of two women and four guard dogs at the farm on Sunday morning.

A long-barrelled gun was recovered by officers when they discovered the bodies of the two victims, believed to be Christine Lee, 66, and her 40-year-old daughter Lucy, at the Keepers Cottage Stud…

especially if Democrats or Rinos remain in control.

Because the republicans wouldn’t allow a blind man to have guns? Not sure I understand, obviously.

And whats a ‘Rino’?
