Leave it out, chum*. That noise in the background is the sound of the bottom of the barrel being scraped…
*Chum, geddit?
Sorry for having a point of view and looking at it from another angle.
That angle being to slap her face to pull herself together and tell her to forget her loved ones?
Fine.
I hear that approach works well for suicide attemptees too…
How about a slightly more practical way of thinking. Why would she want to bring a child into the world without a father.Okay it is his sperm,it is 10 years old and the child will never know the donor. What happens in the future when the mother either finds another partner or the child grows up without the father figure.
There’s enough unstable single parent families as it is.
I feel sorry for her loss but bringing a child into the world in these circumstances does NOT make a fantasy wish come true.P.S She needs to move on and get on with HER life ,not his.
Who on earth are we to give her advice?
What training have we had that allows us to demand that she should let something, a reminder of her most loved one, the opportunity to have the fruit of his loins blossom (ugh!) into a child, a living connection to him, allow that possibility to be destroyed.
Maybe she will never use that sperm. It might just be a fall back, something to comfort her, a security blanket if you like. But to tell someone that she needs to get over it, to get on with her life, is hugely insensitive.

Anyway…maybe she likes the taste?;o)
i know many single parent families
Oo-err! That’s a little like the old patronising Tory claim that ‘some of my best friends are gay’, or something akin to ‘I know a black man so I can’t be racist’.
In fact isn’t the use of similar pronouncements a little like that rule about you losing your argument if you bring Hitler in to it…?;o)
Not pointing the finger, just mentioning.
How about her involvement in the naming of HMS Tiger Bay, the captured Argentine Coastguard patrol boat formerly known as – somewhat ironically – Islas Malvinas?
HMS Cardiff.
Ah yes. The Blue-on-Blue Type 42…

Indeed, but there are times…;o)
Is there any sort of monetary value attached to say, an egg cup full ?
Time for you to investigate, John. Try the local market first, but be prepared for some strange looks…;o)
In fact…

Is this the same woman? Some social media users in Ukraine seem to think so.The woman has appeared in interviews in cities across Ukraine under different names, spreading an anti-protest and pro-Russian message. It’s led to a deluge of videos and pictures being shared on social media platforms as people try to spot the woman.
No, she already appears to be a bitter and twisted loser so things can only get better for her…
education never really worked when I was at school, and it doesn’t appear to work these days either if the number of kids smoking outside the school gates these days is anything to go by.
Fighting Temeraire ,another piece of history http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Temeraire_(1798) .It has been going on for years.
???
A great painting, one of my favourites, but it was broken up in 1838.
You aren’t getting confused with the shore based Directorate of Naval Physical Training and Sport, HMS Temeraire, in Portsmouth since 1971, are you?
