    This is getting silly.

NORTH MIAMI, Fla., July 21 (UPI) — Police in South Florida shot an unarmed caretaker who had his hands in the air as he explained he was a medical professional caring for an autistic man outside a group home, newly released cellphone video shows.

Charles Kinsey, 47, is seen lying on his back with his arms up and telling police he is a behavioral therapist in the video. A man, later identified as a 24-year-old autistic patient from the assisted living facility where Kinsey works, is seen sitting near him cross-legged, at times shouting.

Kinsey was shot at least once in the leg.

The incident unfolded on Monday, when police answered the call near the group home where Kinsey works and the autistic man lives. Police received reports of a suicidal man with a weapon.

In the video, the autistic man can be seen holding a small white object that Kinsey identified as a toy truck.

Kinsey can be heard telling police, “All he has is a toy truck, a toy truck. I am a behavior therapist at a group home.”

In the video, Kinsey also can be heard attempting to calm the autistic man, saying “Rinaldo, please be still. Rinaldo, sit down. Rinaldo, lay on your stomach.”

After he was shot, Kinsey said he was handcuffed and positioned face down on the pavement for about 20 minutes before an ambulance arrived. He said he asked the officer why he was shot.

“[I said] ‘Sir, why did you shoot me? His words to me, he said ‘I don’t know’,” Kinsey said from his hospital bed.

“I was really more worried about [the autistic patient] than myself. I was thinking as long as I have my hands up … they’re not going to shoot me. This is what I’m thinking, they’re not going to shoot me. Wow, was I wrong,” Kinsey said.

The sheer stupid, utter crazy numb-nutz moron with no idea of the sort of stupid crazy dumb thing he shouldn’t do, on camera too. And the police wonder why their popularity is just one percentage point above those who kill them.

I hope he is locked away with all the other crazies to keep him away from the innocent and the fragile.

Yes, it takes a big man to wish a retired, out of office, OAP ill.
    Congratulations, you’re a classy guy.

Thank you. Coming from your good self…

Oh, I wished the demented old witch a long and pleasant life out of office, and quickly, like many miners and manufacturing workers all over the UK, like most of her political opposition and one or two Tory MPs. I remember the relief at finding out that by some miracle the Argentines had royally screwed up and acted before she had succeeded in doing away with our carriers to the scrapyard and Australia, and other parts of the military to whatever hamstrung fate she would have allowed them, thus preventing our retaking the Falklands. Her work made around 5 million people out of work at one point – although by massaging the figures brought this number down to a still record 3.6 million – and, for the poor people, she brought about the decline of social housing which assisted the rise of yuppie vultures buying property, etc etc etc. Need I go on?

Now sing me that song from the Wizard Of Oz, munchkin.

When it comes to politics on line, bad taste is the order of the day.
On this very forum a long time and well known member wished Thatcher would die…and made a similar “joke” about Bush. He wasn’t censored by the authorities here.

Well, he got his wish then, just a matter of time for the rest of us.

“FR24 – NOW WITH AN EXTRA 100,000 CONTACTS WORLDWIDE”?

Might I suggest that with the ones I was watching last night there could be a problem with the RADAR, GPS, whatever since these things were driving over fields, roads, streams, woodland, which could have worked had they been drones and equally had they been main battle tanks driving across a housing estate.

Just to the east of Southend ‘International’ Airport?

There are four there now – and it will be dark at Southend at this time of night. Also doesn’t explain why they haven’t been noted elsewhere. Maybe they are escapees from the secret parts of Nevada that don’t exist.

    I’m not insulting him – he’s got a gun!

    Or two. And probably more.

(I could not post the words I would like to use)

Like, DUH! Anagrams are your friend. Well, anagrams and that guy who swears his way up the high street while clutching a brown paper bag containing a thirteen year old copy of The Sport and an empty Irn Bru can, waving his fist at his shadow.

The five visible at the moment have the Mode-S Code 7CF441, 443, 480, 481 and 4D0.
441 is apparently just sitting in a housing estate, 0 kts, 0 ft. 443 is buzzing around or stopping completely, still at 0 ft, 480 appears intermittently – at 0 ft – travelling slowly northwards, whilst 481 and 4D0 have only just appeared to me and seem to be doing nothing.
I thought it might be some sort of ground equipment with a responder thingy (whatever they’re called) but when they move they don’t appear to follow roads or paths.

The problem is that we are talking, a lot, about the ‘illegal’ aspect of gun ownership where someone goes into a school or nightclub with deadly intent, or tricks cops into an ambush; and these gunmen are generally known as law abiding, the type no one would imagine could carry out this sort of monstrosity.

What about the freedom of those who were the targets and their right not to be killed? Or does that not count if it infringes on the rights of gun owners?

    In addition to above…

Three police officers have been killed and three injured in a shooting in the southern US city of Baton Rouge.
A suspect shot dead at the scene was thought to be the only gunman involved, police said. Reports earlier suggested there was more than one gunman.
There was no “active shooting scenario” in the city now, Louisiana Police Superintendent Mike Edmonson said.

    Plus:

Pokemon Go has taken the world by storm but two teenagers searching for Pokemons could have been seriously injured in Florida after a homeowner shot at them when the latter mistook them as being burglars.

An investigation is underway about the shooting, confirmed by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Facebook release on Sunday. Both teenagers were not hurt the report and the homeowner, a man, admitted that he shot at their car “after they refused to stop when challenged.”
