One of two that I have up in the house.

    http://www.ccbaviation.com/images/wintersday.jpg

A winters day at Coltishall. one of RST Hurricanes. The other is Hawk Country. £80 went from my hands to Mike Rondot for that one, Having actually done what was in the picture worth every penny.

    I like the subtle effect on that……..that’s why I do a lot of watercolour painting 😀 😀 😀 Mark 😀 Very nice 🙂 🙂 🙂

Just seen an item on CH4 news that the C130’s still havent been fitted with Explosion suppressants(?) apparently standard fit on USAF Hercs?

Only one kitted out so far???

    How many more indeed!!!!

Probably part of the so called “defence cuts” that we had not that long ago. Yeah right, cutting the defence of our aircrews more like!!!!!

    Mark.

I have to say that this is one of my favourites. I found it on the internet somewhere and can’t remember the name of the artist, but it’s extremely eye-catching 😀 😀 😀 Mark 😀

Martinsyde S1, Pilot Louis A Strange, Date 10th May 15, Lewis gun magazine Jammed as he tried to change it while engaging a German aircraft, he stood up in the cockpit to free it, Aircraft then stalled 😮 , went inverted and he fell out. 😮 He managed to hold on to the Drum and it stopped him from falling to his death 😎 , He then managed to get back into the cockpit and recover the plane before it hit the ground. 😀

    So, I was pretty darn close then 😀 😀 😀 Mark 😀

    Clue Time….

Clue to the VC winner question. Most likely the Baron’s hardest Kill.

Clue to the other. His first name was like one of his weapons, and he had some Strange ways of mounting it on his aircraft.

    Google time GO!!!!!!!

    Who Likes Mustangs?

    I like Mustangs 😀 😀 😀 Mark 😀

I GUESS that the pilot who fell out of his cockpit was flying either the Martinsyde S1 or the G.100 “Elephant” and his guns had jammed. But that is only a guess 😀 😀 😀
