Don’t say things like that Mark unless you know who or what you are talking about. My Uncle, at 82 years of age, fought off his attacker. Three weeks later we buried him so don’t be flippant about murder.

    Regards,

My Condolences to you Kev 🙁 🙁 🙁 I don’t mean to cause any offence but if I do then tell me to get lost………….It’s just that this town that I am in at the moment is litterally a war zone…………I defend the people who can’t defend themselves (elderly who have their homes burgled and who get mugged etc – we do it by the book and find out information to report to the police) the down side is that I have people trying to harm me who I’ve never even heard of in my life (druggies mostly)……………The last time, I only got away with cuts and bruises because a friend of mine cut he wrists and my brother came to find me……………came close to needing a fresh pair of underwear for christmas 😀 😀 😀 Mark 😀

I do however take pride in the fact that I am willing to stick my neck on the line for people who have done so much for our country (war veterans etc) 🙂

Admirable sentiment. There is, of course, the possibility you might turn into a gibbering wreck whose sole contribution to the event is to soil yourself. We can all say what we ‘think’ we’d do, however, until placed in such a situation none of us will ever really know.

There is always that Kev but I’ve brushed death so many times recently that I am pretty much used to it……….by all rights I should already have been murdered 🙁 🙁 🙁 Mark 😀

    Good luck!

What browns me off was that I went to all the trouble of finding someplace that would take us – and some other sod got to set it all up! What was the fecking point of that?! 😡

Don’t know Daz…………….Last year, My Mum was organising a fundrasing event with a few other students and one of them (who became the “annoying receptionist” that I always tell you about) Made out that she had organised it single handed and took all the glory………….mum was fuming – especially since this cow had done nothing besides argue with everyone else and made on hell of a mess of it all (a mess which my Mum had to sort out)……………That P’d her off, big time.

The very last thing these people want is a gun-battle with security forces – a spectacular failure would damage more than just their headcount.

True…….Very True. I guess we’d just have to keep our eyes open.
