Could be he needs both I guess.

Thanks Graham. Not entirely sure as I’m not part of Mikes group, but I’ll pass on your number.

The RNHF must have had the longest run of rotten luck in preservation history. Three aeroplanes lost, one fatality, and a seemingly constant run of down time due to serviceability issues. Lets just hope that things start to get better for them from here.
On the other hand TFC have lost three Allison powered aircraft, of which I believe only one was down to engine problems, and sadly lost three pilots as a result. And no I’m not knocking them either.
Also one of the RNHF Seafurys was lost due to hydraulic failure of its undercarriage (TF956), not because it’s Centaurus failed.
As one other poster said the best way we can support the RNHF is to make a donation to help them continue with what they represent and what they do best, and that’s what I’ll be doing!

Speculation as to the cause of an accident will always happen – regardless of whether you like it or not.
Pilot is safe and the aircraft is still relatively in one piece. And just like the Buchon incident I’ve got to admire the pilot for bringing it back to the airfield and getting her down. Well done sir!

That first one looks like something from Mad Max. Nice photos

Maybe a nice addition to the Creaking Door collection 😉

The new site is excellent news for a museum that has struggled for so long for a permanent home, and is easily the most fitting and historically appropriate location that it could possibly be.
Looking at my diary sadly I don’t think I’ll be available on the day this year, but I’m happy to help with clearing the site / preparing for the day in any way I can guys!

The photos of the hangar roof collapse onto the Lanc make for sad viewing :apologetic:
