Nice link and story but probably belongs in modern military.

Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours there today, and even my non-aviation minded 13 yr old son enjoyed it, so thanks to Jason and the team for making it possible (and good to meet you too Jason). Also took the time to sign up for membership.
I believe the museum only opened last year, and in this day and age of dwindling aviation museums and displays this place really does need our help and support to survive and continue to grow.

Might be best if you re-read the previous posts again, as she is not in the auction but up for sale in the normal way :). Also even if she does sell it doesn’t mean that it will become common knowledge straight away!

Lets just hope that whatever the outcome she stays in the UK.

I think we are talking ballpark £1.5m – £2m. I’m sure i’ve seen the price somewhere but admittedly i dont know for sure!

How long did it take from the moment it departed normal flight? 4-5 seconds before it hit?
