Bizarre incident! Sad to see one let alone two jets down. Hopefully both the Vampire, and the Venoms rather more extensive damage can be repaired.

Have to say that L-39 looks to be mighty close behind the Vampire in those landing shots!

😮 I am stunned that in this day and age a WW2 cockpit section is being stored outside still, on the ground.. regardless of how wet or dry the climate is. Lets hope its only temporary! And is that the throttle box laying in the nose?

Imagine Mr Allen having a thing for Bomber Command, now that would be something with such a budget.:cool:
