Thanks for that mjr. When i said taxiing i meant in the way that the Shackleton MR3 was i think taxied, albeit in a confined area, by yourselves sometime in the past.

Much abliged for the offer of getting my hands dirty on 923. I am around 100 miles (give or take) from you. And i don’t think my enthusiasm would last long with that journey on a regular basis.
For now i’ll restrict myself to making a donation on my visit.

Good luck with those mjr. You are top of the list for a visit next year.

Can i just ask what the current situation is with XN923. Does she have two Gyrons now running, and is there a chance of her being able to taxi at some time?

Excellent photo. The figure near the open door gives good scale to the sheer size of the Belfast.

A table in our back garden. The kids have removed half the snow, but the original thickness can be seen!

Just north of Duxford – nothing.

Just been in the garden with the pup and there is a thin dusting of snow/frost with the grass peeking through. Roads and paths clear – what’s all the fuss about?……

That is so wierd. We are absolutely covered here… never seen snow like it before in these parts. But my sister further up near Bar Hill has virtually nothing.
If anyone is planning on driving to Duxford or further south.. don’t!!
