Montrose air station museum?
Ah so THATS where the WMD’s are! Can’t say i know the place, but is it a SAM-2 guided missile on a ZIL-157 truck?
Ah yes, forgot about her! Looks like they’re should be enough space. Really looking forward to seeing Cosford when the buildings completed, sure the Cold War exhibition doesn’t seem to be popular but it means more airframes on display and more to see!
Will hangar one be even more cramped now? The major exhibits moved from hangar one are the Dakota, York, Liberator and Hunter (maybe a few more) but i doubt that would give enough space for those relatively large aircraft, hope i’m wrong though! Would be nice if you could go inside the Argosy, enough room for a small museum inside one of those giants.
Very nice pics, the Battle of Britain makes me very proud to be British.
Yep the helicopter museum has one too. Very interesting to have one at Cov, just hope i can catch a lift there this weekend.
Brilliant, sounds good to me
Whatever does happen with the Vulcan, i think it’s good that they’ve tried. Personally i think it will happen, and i’ll be there for the first flight, if possible
Hmm… as an early child a good diet of aviation museums and aviation museums including my old favourites Battle of Britain and Memphis Belle
I go the gym whenever i get the time, helps me feel better about myself and also is training me up for joining the RAF

Very nice, i have to go there one day. Do you have any photos of the two Tu-16 Badgers there? Beautiful, sleek looking aircraft
Hmm interesting, any idea of where/when? My first guess is a movie prop, haven’t seen a US jet liek that before
They’ve got an aircraft now? 😮
Tell us more!!!! 😀
According to the website http://www.flyalpha1.com/ the aircraft is ready to be delivered, as of August 1 2005
How about ‘the collection your all jealous of’? I sure know i am
