The Duxford Viscount is due to be put into Airspace, maybe cramped but at least she’s not rotting outside anymore(well, won’t be)

Sorry to bore you with this,

but ive just added another 50 photos to the site,

and im also starting to do write ups about all the aircraft at the museum

Not boring at all, in fact one of the most useful things (to me) the internet is for is to see new developments at museums e.t.c, and photos if possible!

Hmmm maybe not, back to square one then! I love the way the engine cover folds away, any other aircraft like that?

Cheers, shame the whole of that hangar is used up for the Concorde! Would look good with the smaller airliners (Twin Pin, Devon) around the bottom, wouldn’t block the view at all i would have thought

Anyway, here are a few pics. The airborne ones are obviously not up to the standard of, say, MOTF or Robbo, but I don’t have their kind of equipment to hand!

Good pics, especially the 3.7 inch AA gun, my Grandad served on them in WW2

Very nice, especially like G-AEXF (Mew Gull?) and the Buchon

Judging by the look of it and the scale of the grass and pics, i’d say about the same, although could be something slightly bigger, i.e. Varsity

Should be able to soon, going to combine it with a trip to East Kirby as its a long way from home just to go to one museum! Is Hangar 2 full now? I’d love to get a good shot of the Hunter, last time i saw her she was looking in a very bad state, now she looks factory fresh
