You just download the sid/star database from http://www.navdata.at, then copy and paste the single xml file (proceduresdb) into “C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9Level-D Simulationsnavdata” and overwrite whats there.

I have just recently got a Fuji Finepix S3500, not the best, but i can say the Fuji Finepix series are very good. Even with my 4 million effective pixels, very sharp photos.
I have no idea about the camera you mention, but i can reccomend Fuji Finepix.
