I’ve been there a couple of times…came back from the brink.

    Not bothered about it.

The Surgeon told me the other day in reference to my on going problems that I should have been six feet under four years ago, but it doesn’t faze me.

I’m here at the moment and that’s all that concerns me, although on balance, the way I have been left with health issues and lack of support I often feel it would have been better had I not come back.

I do not believe there is anything else…gone and that’s it.

😉 I didn’t pose a question…I didn’t ask if they had gone it was a query on the OP statement…haven’t they already gone.

The BBC has wanted to use advertising but have been prevented from doing so.

Many years ago when it was just ITV and BBC and the licence was in the £70ish bracket there were some figures given that the average person paid about £110 per year to watch ITV. That being the cost of TV advertising passed on to the customer in the High Street.

Of course you pay in the end, but at least you are choosing what to buy and there is always going to be a marketing cost added whatever the methods used TV or otherwise.

But with the licence you have to pay and since there are few programmes I would watch, I don’t see why I should pay more than a weeks income to pay for something I don’t really have any use for.

Various threads about the end of the Electras. Try searching on G-LOFC and G-LOFE.

Why??…I know about the recent happenings, hence my post as the OP says about replacing some Electras.

I thought Power Of Attorney could only be used to act on the persons best interest which in this case it is clearly not.

This seems to be a clear case of abuse of legal power and I should have thought the judge will pick up on this

The petition is irrelevant as this is a legal matter and petitions have no effect over the law.

Hopefully the judge will see sense but so often it’s mega bucks lawyers fightING their side for a win evEn on a technicality which clearly shows an injustice in the real world.

I hope the judge not only finds against her but also instructs the DA to look into criminal charges for the daughter.

No..it’s not about the money as such, just that I have to pay a fee for them to decide what to put on and it’s stuff I don’t want to watch in HD or otherwise.

I just wish they would improve the service but like the telly sellers, they are just ripping the punters off.

The proportions were just right, something the Trident sadly lost when it was scaled down.

A good point to remember is NOT to trust Wikipedia.

All the subjects covered on Wiki I know quite a bit about show major errors and copies of major error repeated ad infinitum

If you quote Wiki as your source you’ve already lost the argument.
