Hi Jeremy, we do not know each other but never mind, I undestand your happiness being back in the air and I am glad for you.
I have had a similar feeling 5 years ago and I know it’s great. If your flights leave you some time, read my story on http://www.pfiquet.be/icarus.pdf
Have a great fun up there

On the 24th June (Saturday), when you originally posted, both the Duxford T.28s were on the ground. I was there. The camo one in the ARC/HFL compound and the silver one in the hanger with its engine covers off.

Withhout a picture, noone can say but what’s for sure is that 2 T-28 Fennec’s are based and airworthy in Duxford; They are Fennec #119 N14113
and Fennec #142 G-TROY.
See the story and pictures of the 148 Fennec’s built (modif) in 1960 on

Fennec’s in Uruguay
I guess that there are ex-french T-28 always airworthy in the uruguyan naval aviation. Has anybody informations ??
Yesterday I received the complete status of the Fennecs in Uruguay from an Urugayan historian, 2 of the 9 aircrafts are still flying today : Fennec # 142, URU 406, currently N141BS and Fennec # 19 URU 409 currently C-GBKT (for sale). Can anyone tell me where I can find more information about the Fennec’s in Honduras (8 aircrafts between 78 and 80 coming from Morrocco) and Nicaragua (4 aircrafts from 76 to 79, unknown source), I also heard about 10 being used in Dominican Rep. in 1980. Those information would finalize the 2006 inventory of th 148 t-28A’s modified as Fennec’s in 1959/60 by the French Air Army.
Note :
Morroco had 25 Fennec’s operating between 1967 and 78
Argentina had 65 between 1966 and 75, 9 of them were sold to Uruguay and operated until 2000, 2 of them still flying, maybe 3.
Thanks for your help.
You are damned right, I should be blamed for not checking the T-28B’s Bu #
Therefore, those two planes are T-28D’s, not Fennecs.
What induced my mistake is that all the litterature I’ve found on the D’s mention three weapons pylons under the wings vs two for the Fennec’s.
There probably were some D’s built with only two?
T-28 Trojan/Fennec
“The French attack-T-28s aren’t AT-28s, they aren’t even Trojans. They are Fennecs.”
Yeah, I was kinda to lay to mark down what everyone called the T-28 in thier service. Thanks for all the other info.
Philippines……………..
That picture posted on Nov, 15 2003 looks like FENNEC’s if you consider the gun pod. But the markings on the tail do not fit with any of the information I have so far collected in my compilation for a .
2006 Fennec inventory but I may have missed something.
The “Warbird Registry” shows no t-28 buit with a”54-” s/n The 54-13xxxx numbers were allocated to Douglas C133.
USAF 1954 serial numbers
Do you have any other documents that could help finding the built number of those planes ?
