In front of us flew Boeing Stearman OO-USN:
3 other planes flew together with the Viima. On my left side, I could see the SV4c OO-LYR:
And now we took off to head home:
And now the start up of the Legends to return to their home after a busy day:
Yes, Roger, As you know, I hope to visit Lelystad in September. It would be nice to see that mustang there! 😎
Thanks for those nice additions!

As the event came to a end, only the Harvard MKIV and the fouga stayed lonely on the concrete. Some final pics of the official end of the wings part of the event. This was the covering of the harvard:
Cheers,

Also during that day, the B25 and the spit departed again to attend the sanicole airshow:
The flying Legends group should have attended the event with there tigermoth and the viima, but i had a ride in the viima saturday evening when it returned to its homebase when it incountered a small technical problem (not my fault 😮 ) which prevented it to return on sunday. The legends send their nice Morane MS317 OO-MOR as replacement. See it here during a small demo on the ground:
See this link about my Viima ride:

Now pics of sunday. he most planes that attended on saturday returned on sunday. A few new arrivels where also there such as this chipmunk from Braschaat:
During the day, more modern aircraft flew in as well (but this is the historic forum so …). Also During the day, the biplanes of the legends made several flights. Also the B25 and spit took off for a practice at Sanicole to prepare them for the airshow which took place there on sunday. But after this practice, the spit and B25 returned to WAW. Here is the smoky start of the B25:
The stampe museum came to the event with 2 nice stampes. The first was Stampe SV4C OO-GWC which is the first Stampe SV4 built in france and that is why it has serial number 1. It is the oldest flying stampe in the world.
The other SV4 was a SV4b OO-SVB built in Belgium. It is the most recent restored SV4b in Belgium and it has a nice sheme: 😎
Very nice, Stieglitz. Love the Viima!
Thanks,
Me to, i’ll devote a seperate tread to the Viima later 😉 but first the pics of WAW.

The support team of the spit came in style with this DH Beaver:
Another topper was this nice Spitfire MK9 MK732 which also came from the Netherlands:
Then one of the highlights was the Duke of Brabant’s B25 Mitchell:
