Do you mean that I need to buy a new keyboard. 😮 That will cost me a lot of $$$! :p

I collect from both sides (good and bad, medals, clothes, paperwork,…). This trip may be a very expensive one for the fanatic collector! Good luck in your hunt for your helmet Roger.

Not that I know of.
Greets,
J.V.
It might be a good place to find me some “new” helmets.
I am curious to see which one you will choose! 😀

It is easy with a program as paintshop pro. In the menubar, you go to:
FileImportScreen CaptureSetup
You choose your Hot Key and then you choose for capture now.
Then you start your FS (without closing PSP), maybe in full screen modus. When you see a position you want to take a screenshot from while running your FS, you simply press the Hot-Key you chose and paintshop pro should automaticly capture your screen in a nice image.
Hopefully this can help you. Good Luck!

As said before: Well done! Thumbs up for that work!
J.V.
Well, It was intended to fly this year. But it has structural problems. There is some work to be done at its tail. (new parts need to be made). The owner said it would fly this year, but with this ‘new’ tailproblem, this will not be possible. I even have some doubts that it may fly in the near future.
I only hope the current owner still wants to bring his magnifficent plane in full airworthy condition. But there will be updates on this forum when we can get clear news about the aircrafts condition and the plans of the owner.
I hope it can fly soon!

I like your original idea adwwebber!
1. Start a collection/museum with a limited funds.
2. Choose a (grass)field to sart from.
3. Build a hangar, acces by road, …
4. Build a pubb, restaurant, souveniershop, …
5. Pay for advertisement
6. additional incomes from your panes possiby from TV-Work, attending the shows of neighbours if your planes are requested, …
7. If you buy big planes (for example a B-17, you need a long (concrete)runway to operate it from.
8. Big planes should cost a lot on maintenance.
9. Can you place a plane in storage?
10. Airshows should be a good source of income, but could also be very expensive (bad weather, …)
…
And maybe you could add a option to fly a displaysequence yourself?
There are a lot of options which you can use to make such a game. I think it could be difficult to include all of them. But I like the idea and I would buy it for shure !with or without the possibilety to fly a display myself 😉 )
I do hope you succeed!

I would like to see a movie of W/Cdr Mike Donnet.
Michel “Mike” Donnet is born at Richmond (UK) on April 1, 1917 . Military pilot at the Aéronautique Militaire Belge in 1939, he served at the 9/I, based at Bierset, when the Germans invaded Belgium. He evaded the occupied country by air with Léon Divoy on a Stampe SV-4b on the night of 4/5 July 1941. On 24 July 1942 , Donnet is accepted by the RAF Volunteer Reserve and is affected at Heston. After conversion on Spitfire he went to 64 Sqn, that he commanded in 1943. On March 23, 1944, Mike was posted to command 350 Sqn. Leading the Sqn till 23 October 1944, he was awarded a DFC and promoted W/Cdr, to led the Hawkinge – Wing, and the Bent-waters-Wing in 1945. After the war, he was posted to the Ministry of Defense. He then led the HQ of the 83 Anglo-Belgian Group, he became commander of Air Defense Central Europe and then Commander of HQ of 2 TAF. He took presidency of the direction comity of the project NADGE and afterwards became Military Attaché at the Embassy in London. He was member of the Military comity of the NATO and finally he retired as Lt – General in 1975. Baron Michel Donnet is still living. He wrote several books. One of those books was about his escape with the Stampe SV4b from belgium and I think you can make a good movie about this event.

Now the count-down to the first flight can realy start. Wonderfull work!
The Luftwaffe will return on the european scene with this plane, Glenn Lacey and the new Built FW190’s. There is a bright future for the Luftwaffe-fans!

Looks great. I hope to see some of these planes at airshows on the continent as La Ferte-Alais! 😎

a possible for legends 05?
There was a tread on the new built FW planes which told us that they aren’t allowed by the CAA to fly in the UK for safety reasons. So I don’t think they can participate at the 2005 legends show. 🙁

Sad news. 🙁 Let’s hope that the owners can get some help to repair this nice machine.
Thanks for this link paulmcmillan.
I hope that they can find a good home for the wreck of this superb fighter/bomber.
