And the show went on!
I was very suprised to see this Fairchild arriving during sunday. π
Does someone know where this Fairchild is based?
And the Flamands where there again on the second day!
Also the light aviation stuff was represented. The Cub made a amazing display as you can see on the pic:
On sunday, we where graced with much better weather so the full program could be flown! π
The show started again with some biplane fun and trainers. Here they come:
And lets not forget the reΓ«nactors!
The Breightling Team closed the show that day with a good display (just like last year, but now with one extra jet).
A big suprise was to see the WWI dogfights in tese cloudy skies. This is La Ferte at it’s best!!!
I was very glad to see the DRI in the sky! Never saw such a plane in the sky before. π
Due to the lack of superb weather, the program was a bit resized for saturday, but still some very nice machines where in the sky! Look at this selaction from saturday:
The Dewoitine D27 was displayed with a lot of skill. I was amazed what this machine could do! π
And after the Buckers also a trio of Stampe SV4 biplanes!
And now the true vintage program started with a nice display of Bucker Biplanes:
The flying started during the afternoon with a weather check preformed by this cap.
I’m glad to see someone likes them! π Maybe I’ll post a few more later.
Cheers,
Stieglitz
To close a good pic (in my opinion):
So, I hope I didn’t make a fool out of myself and that you could injoy some of these pics.
