The paintsheme is slowly revealing itself. It must feel great to make a first public outing with this project.

    Good job TT.

Thanks for sharing guys. The status of the projects held by Skysport have always been a bit of a mistery to me. So I’m very pleased to see these nice pics.

    Thank you.

Ah, thanks to bump this old tread to the top again. Yes, the Viima (ex G-BAAY) was used in aces High. We had discussed this piece of history of this machine just a few weeks ago.

Is Acesz High available on DVD. I haven’t seen it and would love to see this Viima in it’s glory on screen!

    Greets,

PS: One more for the fans of this unique machine:

Thanks for sharing these pics Spey! 🙂 They give a good vieuw on many Tiger Moths currently flying in the UK. Sadely, we dont see such biplane-tipes often here. So Thanks a lot for posting. Any TigerMoth Fan will love this!

According to a FlyPast article a good few years ago, the Fiat should have a more elaborate scheme but the Italian millitary are not keen about civil aircraft carrying unit badges and codes. Hopefully when it makes a return to full health it will be able to visit the UK again, I would love to see it!

It might be the case that the Fiat misses a few unit badges an of course I wouldn’t mind if they would be painted on the plane.

But I’ll get in line to see the return of this interesting bird.

Thanks for the additional info about the authenticety of the sheme will J.

Thanks for those pics yakrider. I have a videotape of with this fiat at Legends in 1995 but it doesn’t give a clear vieuw of the plane due to the big distance between the camera and the plane. It’s great to see the simple but very nice sheme on this fiat.

That Cat shure does look different in that White sheme. What a way of spending your day off! … (When did I get my last day off?)

Thanks for the nice pics and the tease Darren. 😉

He is a bit older I think. He is flying this P51 from the Scandinavian historic flight for some years now. But I hadn’t seen it lately. So it does make me feel good that this P51 is spotted again. 🙂
