Was the MS equiped with a continental engine in the movie or a Salmson engine. If it wasn’t a continental, would that make it a Morane Saulnier MS315?

Something like this, but then in silver:

    The Fiat came from ursel.

The Hendon Fiat made a forced landing in the UK on Nov. 11th 1940. See this link:

    http://www.warbirdregistry.org/italianregistry/cr42-mm5701.html

I help to organize an event from the airfield of ursel. At the webpage of our event under the info of the airfield of Ursel (click on: ‘ursel airfield’), you can see that 50 fiat CR42 biplanes took of on that day for a raid on the UK. Only 3 out of 50 aircraft returned to Belgium. See this link:

it should be ready in time for La Fertรฉ Alais !

    Martin

It is in the program of LFA. I only hope the plane get’s ready in time. I heard reports that it would be ready in time for an airshow in the UK in july. But I prefer a debut at LFA. It is a french fighter which should make it’s debut ‘at home’.

Wil it be there or not? That is the question! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Oh no, not again. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Last I heard was that the Hawk was being dismanteled in the US for shipment to the UK. But it could be something else as cygnet states.

Just wait and see. It should be ready in time for Legends.

Yes, I also hope this bird makes a good recovery.

Thanks all for sharing these wonderful pics. I hope to see one of these centaures powered Furies in the sky one day. A superbly designed plane. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

    Thanks guys! ๐Ÿ™‚

Does that model still survive? Are any further details of it available? For example it’s type of engine?

And any news about the U 571?

Did you open your cowl flaps and was your propeller set in a good position to taxi? Maybe you just overheated your engines while you where on the ground.

Another option is that in the menu of flight simulator, the engine fire failure was enabled so that the engine automaticly catches fire after e few minutes.

    Hopfully this may help.

That is certainly one of the reasons Dave. Also, these museums might just want to keep their hidden secrets. If a lot of the collection is photographed and these pics reach the net in numbers, a lot of visitors may choose to visit the museum ‘online’, rather than to go there. (just a thought)
