Interesting topic about this well known trainer. Does someone have a picture with a Harvard MKI, NA BC-1 or such a rare NA-16? Would be great to see how the Harvard/T6 story started.

For me, it would be a dream to find a (partial) Stampe SV5 trainer. Not even 1 example from this succesfull pre-war trainer has survived. It would fill an important gap in any Belgian (flying) museum.

That is sad news indeed. Would have been a very nice christmas deal for shure. I hope they may reconsider this so that archi may still join us on DVD in the future.

There is still much work to be done on this project. There are several options still open about the enginetype which will be used. Nothing has been decided yet. More info about this project will be released when the time is right.

I Didn’t no he had a long nosed variant. Should make a nice addtion to the airshow circuit.

Whats the state of play with his buchon? will it fly again or is it still grounded?

His Buchon is in very good and complete condition. It would require only minor work to get it fully airworthy again. But for now, the plane will stay grounded.

Jacquard’s could fly end of next year. He recently increased workforce.

Great to see that the project makes progress. I hadn’t heard much of it since it went to Jaquard. It will be great to see once the Focke Wulfs are ready!:)

Eric Vormezeele’s team is working on a FW190D. It will certainly not be finnished as an A-variant. This example will stay in Belgium once completed.

Thanks for keeping us updated Mark. How nice to see such a great progress after it’s crash. Almost hard to believe she may get airborne again so soon. What an amazing job! I look forward to see how this project will continue.

An old jet or airliner is always nice, but I’m still a prop fan. For me, I would love to see a DH mosquito back in the european sky. I have never seen one up before.
