Yep, Aer Lingus took delivery of several Fokker F-27-100 friendship’s in the late 1950ties. It wil most probably be one of those.

I would say it is a fokker F-27. But I don’t know which subtype.

If it is indeed the desert filter, it wil be a great change to see on the flying scene.
I’m looking forward to hear more about it.

Oh, Gnome, you also took some nice pics. Please … 😉 I hope to see a great loooong series of pics here!
Thanks for posting guys!

Great pics TNZ! Stunning ground animation with that WW1 tank! 😎
It’s great to see those ex-Breightling team machines at the show!
I know you have more pics TNZ. Where are they. I want to see them! :diablo:

J.V.
Great pics again!
Many thanks.

My guess is that we will need to wait until after february 4th. This is the release date of the payware AH/just flight Spitfire pack and IAC is included in this pack.
I know that AH also announces the release of a freeware spir IAB 161 but they haven’t made any public statmet about it’s release. I hope that this freeware project hasn’t dissapeared in the payware pack. I hope AH comes with some news soon, but as said before; I think we will only know it after february 4th.

Before 1990
My guess is that the collection has survived intact. See the link from Martin on post 6 which tells us that the collection was able to expand during the conflict. And it doesn’t mention any losses or damage which could have occured at that time. So I have good hope that everything at the museum is still intact.

J.V.
It’s great to see the P47 there. I almoust thought it was disapeared. Stunning collection. I’m glas to see the museum survived the recent conflects in that region so well. 🙂

I eagerly await your reports gents.
My expectation of Just Flight remain very low. I hope I’m as wrong this time as I was when my expectations were higher.
Is this a stand-alone or does it add-on to something?
Moggy
I also hope that this pack wil be (very) good. After so many delays. I hope our test of patience will pay off.

Large parts of one of the B17ns, the Lonesome Polecat, are on permanent show (in Lisserbroek) 20 minutes from where I live in Holland. On show are the nose art with name, severall engines and the pilots seat with instrumentation aswell as other parts as a gastank and that kind of things. BW Roger
I need to see that one day! Maybe I’ll visit that museum very soon. 😉

WOW! I didn’t know Argentina used the Super Etendards. Very nice pics and interesting tread.
Thanks all.

Great pics and nice museum. I once read in Flypast that the museum also owns a P-47 Thunderbolt and Martin’s link to the museum confirms this. Did anyone take pics of this bird by any chance?
J.V.
Check your PM’s Chris. 😉
