Next to the Sturmovik projects in the UK, there are also 2 sturmoviks owned by AMPAA in france. But I don’t now if any restorationwork on those machines is planned or started.

Sad news again. Second loss in one week. (Think about the Tornado crash in Germany). 🙁 My thoughts are with the families.

The future doesn’t look so bright for the museum, but I hope they might find a way to build that new building.

I don’t think so. There was, I think, another Hispano-engined survivor, but something tells me it was converted to take a DB
🙁
Maybe one day they might convert it back its HS configuration.
Thanks Daz,

I like simple shemes. So the red nose P51s are very nice indeed Dan. Next to those, I’ve amways liked G-MSTG ‘Janie’. 😎

Yes, Christmas won’t be the same any more. My thoughts are with the families.

On the pics that JDK posted, we can see a Buchon preserved in Spain with a Hispano engine. Are there any other examples left in the world with this type of engine?

I only have one name that I use aviation forums which you can see at the top of this post.
On Flight Simulation forums I use another.

It could be released for a while, but I had never hear of it. It’s something different and it looks nice. Maybe worth a try.

Very sad news from the whale front (again). I’m not any kind of greenpeace activist, but just imagine how lonely this animal must be.

Yep, very impressive collection JDK. I hope to have one Buchon one day that can resemble to the ones you made! Nice! 😎

Well, that’s just great news isn’t it!
Maybe our dream still might come true on the 12th december. Maybe not ….

Well done mate! It is a Stampe SV5 built in latvia. There where 10 SV5 planes exported from Belgium to Latvia. Those examples built in Belgium had a Armstrong-Siddeley 340-hp Serval 5 engine. In 1938, another 6 SV5 where built under contract by VEF in Latvia and they had a Cheetah IX radial engine. So the mystery is solved. 🙂
