I’m glad that my first quiz doesn’t seem to be so easy.
But:
You’re right galdri! It’s a Cheetah engine! The first step in the right direction!
J.V.
Yes, the engine is british. But what about the plane? 😉
I have 2 more pics of this plane and maybe I will post them if the plane remains a mistery for you guys.
J.V.
2 times no.
J.V.
It is european.
J.V.
No, sorry mate. 😉
J.V.

Did you notice that. Although I would also like to know what type of plane this was before it got broke! :diablo:
PS: I don’t think it wil be able to attend Legends 2005 (but I could be wrong).
J.V.
Great news! 🙂
It looks like there is still some work to do, but it will be great to see such a rare biplane in the air again!
J.V.
That is great MK959! Thank you very much! 🙂

If nobody else has posted, I’ll get back to you on this……..
Thanks Mpacha, any news is welcome. I have great memories about this aircraft when it was still flying here in Belgium. So any news would be great.
Greets,
J.V.
Nice pics Kukru! 😎
While I saw those yak52’s I recalled something. A few years back (I believe at the end of 2002 a yak 52 with registration LY-LVN departed from Belgium to South Africa. I heard rumours that this plane has crashed there, but I never saw any reliable source about this accident. Is LY-LVN still flying there ore at another place? The difficult part is that I’ts registration most have changed when it arived in South Africa.
I know it’s a difficult question and I wonder if someone knows a thing about the current condition of this aircraft.
Anyone???
