Mystery panel
Seen on ebay but no idea what it’s off. Low RPM, with ‘oil’ impressed into the surface so presumably made specially and plane shaped. Looks a bit Gladiator shaped but isn’t.

Whilst looking for Luftwaffe turret info I found this which might be useful, some lovely cutaways.

Superb work, love it.
He does accept offers! It’s very nice but looks like a money hole. Two seats and a windscreen for a start.
I’m with Anon on the not German id. The corrugated piece looks Defiant to me. are these from the pile of ‘Spitfire’ bits on evilbay? Was there much actual Spit? It sounded like there might be a radio hatch.
Vulcan B1 panel is taking shape. I mirrored the pilot’s side for the second pilot’s and juggled things around to look like the pilot’s notes (thanks again for that scan Dave). A couple of acrylic prototypes got things fitting and then sent the CAD drawings off to a local laser cutter. Some trepidation they would come back like Stonehenge in Spinal Tap but everything, or at least everything I’ve got, fits. On the 2nd pilot side the ‘Indicator, DF Bearing type 1630′ top left and the fuel flow indicator 6A/4252’ bottom left are both mysteries but hopefully not Vulcan specific. Any leads much appreciated!
No they aren’t! But would love to see. You and Cees really are the kings of cockpit construction.
Very nice! Tempest possibly as I don’t think Hurricanes had Gyro gunsights (GGS) and the bottom knuckle is definitely not Spitfire. I’d happily swap for magic beans etc!
You could be right Martyn, the auction example may have migrated to Spit Spares but I can’t find the link to check. Considering the amount scrapped around here I’m suprised South Wales antique shops aren’t stuffed with them (they’re not:(). The nearest I’ve come is a cadet recovery from a Lanc in the Welsh hills, with dual controls fitted. The mag alloy from the spokes has turned to powder although the force of the crash probably did it no favours.
Your Shack yoke is beauty, JC. Front room quality on a nice plinth and no mistake. Your Rapide yoke is also rather lovely Dave, a definite art deco piece. Your cobwebs make me feel less embarrassed about my filthy carpet in earlier pics too!
Strangely that’s the third one in a month or so. One on ebay, one in an auction pointed out on here and now Spit Spares. Common as!
It looks like one of the little Cessna twins, one was pointed out on ebay a couple of days ago.
It has the look of a home made panel, the originals being pressed with a continuous lip around the edges. Your example looks to have been folded from sheet. It has some good instruments and certainly looks the part though.
Lovely! That must be one of the most modern cockpits in captivity. Definitely at the end of analogue gauges in cockpits. Are you not tempted to whittle a lump of timber to plug the grip into?
Having checked with Philippa, yes, your photo is the Robin Hood’s bay loss, Ian. See you in a different hole!
Very nice Batura, I’ve done a bit research into French panels after finding the attached! Will look through pics. It could be spare;) Do you by any chance have a Super Etendard panel? I may have the control column! Shown here:

Would love to see more of your collection.
Jack, your Harrier appeared out of nowhere. Very nice. Would love to see the insides.
