You’ve got the bits, Tony, but it looks a challenge! This a Vickers pic from late Peter Foote collection which I uploaded a while ago. Similar details but contemporary. Are you going for a ‘no blind’ chassis indicator as well? Looking forward to seeing the finished result.
And somewhere to put it. It would never fit up the stairs.

Interesting stuff Geoff. Would love to see the B36 bits, visited that site a couple of times. Surprising it was scrapped so locally, or were those bits liberated!

I’ve got a pair on my seat. I won’t be attaching it to anything so you are welcome to them if a loose half dozen can’t be found. Bought myself half of a 3KS manual for Chrimbo so really getting into the nitty gritty now!

Mohawks /Hawk 75s had a ring and bead sight. flicking through a book of P40s, iron sights were still fitted to the later K and M models. Here is the bead from Mohawk BK877, lost in 1941. It was also fitted with a MkII reflector sight.
I’d certainly drag some bits over the water, it would be a good excuse to get things finished.
Now that is a Christmas present! It’s not Blenheim as the base is different, but also not quite the same as the drawings in the SAM ‘Modellers Datafile’ which shows the column very clearly. It looks like the firing button fits on the left as there is a cut out for the pipe/cable. Very nice!
Thanks very much! A page or two from the manual would be most appreciated. I’ve got a parts list for a 4BS which gives a bit of orientation but doesn’t show how the bits actually fit. The rail is now re attached (a challenge in a small room) but not sure whether time delay is extant. PM sent.
Another expensive seat
Not ebay, but of similar eye watering expense. Polished Vulcan seat:

Gunsight bulb holder
SR71 stuff is pretty rare, he’s got quite a price on a little bit of panel.
More bits from dave the plumber. Next to the F86 throttle looks a lot like a reflector sight bulb holder. He’s being very open about his openness to offers!

It’s aircraft individual code letter, saves walking around the side to read the fuselage. (I think)
An A26 wheel here, and a very nice F102 yoke. Would like one but don’t think it will be cheap.
