I hope you get it Graham, I’ve wanted to sit in it since I was about 12!
It might well still have the stick, Graham, the seat looks pretty complete. The airframe used to look ropey back in the eighties. The owner had some interesting scrap out the back and my brother and I would offer small amounts of cash for bits of jet. He used to have a Spitfire but is was gone before my time.
Thanks for an excellent day out Andy, old friends, new faces and some useful bits. Highlight was this little treat which was recovered from an aged relative’s school friend’s loft. Have seldom smiled so much.
I’ve got a contactor as well. In a Swap Shop style I’m after a compass card holder, a bakelite selectric gun button and a VSI for a Lynx. Have many splendid labels by way of exchange tokens. Emergency chassis one just completed.
It looks like the giro support from horizon or compass, not sure which though. Anything else to see? Did the plastic bit arrive OK?

Excellent pics, If you’re sending some bits over to the family I’ll fire up the laser cutter.

Not a perfect match but would claim a shared. Forgot I’d posted.

RIP indeed. A good innings.

At least two Heinkels and the Whitley. Not very big but very sticky up!
