My cousing was working in Iraq in the early to mid 1980s on developing the MLRS systems;)

One final question,why did Saddam thing that after the Desert Storm,he would get the airplanes that flew to Iran back? Just your view,i am curious.

The information I have that the radar technology obtained from french radar (Tiger g air defence radar).

and about Saddam .he send the aircraft to Iran to save them from attacks.and he would get them back to rebuild the air force and save the best aircraft he has. but Iran refuse to get them back because that aircraft was reimbursement of Iran losses in the Iraq-Iran war.

Saddam has a dream to build Iraq as super power country and the military power is the only way to that .and the history memory tolds that saddam was build the Iraq glory and civilization so he stay thinking in that dream to the end .
