maybe not in the next 10 years. Some of the people in this forum be like “Rafale is a stealth aircraft”.

that said, I would really like to see them make one.
The French don’t disappoint in aircraft design
    and neither do the Swedes

but Saab did make a concept model (and a miniature flying one) called FS2020 which looks more or less like a Stealth Gripen
a bit ugly and its internal bay doesn’t seem like it can carry any meaningful loads besides basic air policing.
I think there can be no such thing as a stealth light fighter, due to the bay issue, it’s gonna be at least medium weight (around F-35 and MiG-29) and heavier.

Indeed a handsome and impressive design; the main-issue however is simply that concerning Russian hardware and esp. such a mega-project – they are and will remain WHAT-IFs!

well ok sherlock, we all knew that… well not sure about certain fan groups
super carriers and russia/soviet don’t seem to get a long

    reflecting the sky color.

the problem is, the sky color during the era of model 2001 and 2002 were usually grey. This is China we’re talking about and when those reveals and flights took place, there were always smog or cloudy weather

… and concerning “GREEN” … the colour on the C919’s tail is what I would call green.

since some people are obviously color blind, hopefully they are not illiterate either.

    from Hui-Tong

The J-20 (K/JJ20?) #2001 technology demonstrator made its maiden flight on January 11, 2011 over the city of Chengdu, wearing a distinctive dark green color scheme and powered by two AL-31F turbofan engines.

    from Live leak

The J-20 #2001 prototype was photographed when it was preparing for high-speed taxi trial at the CAC airfield in late December 2010, wearing a distinctive dark green color scheme

    old chat from sino defense

I will repeat myself (as I enjoy nagging :p) that we probably will not see J-20 in yellow primer on the tarmac, ever.
We have seen two color schemes of J-20, 2001 and 2002 in dark green, 2011 and onwards in lighter grayish green. We have seen all other prototypes of J-10 and J-11 in yellow primer but never J-20, why?

And who cares about what colour magazine and model drawings were?
Is the question what colour the magazine and model drawings were, or what the colour of the actual plane was? I thought the issue was the latter, rather than the former. If we are debating over what a few magazine and model drawings initially thought the colour was — then yes, clearly they incorrectly displayed and listed it as green.

nobody cared, until I mentioned it casually to KGB
then suddenly some one’s panties got tied up in a knot. for some reason the color dark green highly offends them

2001 is clearly dark green, the only reason it’s called into question is because there’s no clear day time shot of it due to China’s eternal pollution

If that image really looks dark green to you I think it may be of interest for you to consult an optometrist or an ophthalmologist.

and note that the magazine and model drawings based on the early prototype also show dark green, no matter how hard you try to spin it.
    see a doctor please.
