Nope. It’s the RCS model made under the Replica programme, an all British black programme revealed ten years ago, some time after it had been terminated. Pictures were published at the time. The location is right, & it looks just like the pictures. There’s no doubt what it is.

Replica was cancelled after the UK joined JSF as a Tier 1 partner. It’s been argued that showing the programme to the Americans convinced them that the UK qualified for Tier 1, & that was why it was done.

uh yeah sure.. you said comparable platforms.. there’s only like 3 others right now and they share similar aerodynamics

In this picture I believe the j20 length is more or less the same lenght as the Flanker

the problem with those satellite pictures is that the resolution isn’t high enough, so going off by one pixel results in significant changes in size.
the most accurate comparison was one Deino and I did a few years ago with a JF-17 superimposed over a J-20, taken from the same exact position and angle, at an airfield.
The problem was, no one agreed how long the jf-17 was (issue was whether the length included the pitot tube or not). If it did not, then its longer than the Flanker.

1. why is the radome so small?
2. why is it always upside down?
3. was the design intended to have bays?
4. if so..what are the chances of BAe selling the design to say, Korea or Turkey for them to finish?
