Now having the BBMF flyover the opening ceremonies while the German team makes its entrance would be just rubbing it in…:D

Reminds me of that Top Gear episode were they faces the germans and they arrive in T9 Spitfires 😀

Especially if, by some bizarre coincidence, a band were to be playing Eric Coates’ splendid “Dambusters March” somewhere in the immediate vicinity……. :diablo:

And the Battle Of Britian theme aswel :diablo: I was going to say Vulcan Bomber with the Reds but that wont go well with Argentina.

Hey Paul, I think you are one of the great British bassists and I’m proud as hell of ya !:D;)

As for the Red Arrows, are they really booked this far ahead :

Well by 2012 , they will have a new set of pilots by then.though this one wont be making it. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1054687/Pictured-The-dramatic-scene-Red-Arrows-Hawk-jet-crash-landed-smashed-RAF-base.html .Well I hope they are at the 2012 games I was going to say with the BBMF Lanc & Vulcan but that would be a bit too much to ask for.

    If you say so….

Yeah because everything I say is ;):D Cant belive you dont like Star Wars , Your not a Star Trek fan are you?

With a mean surface temperature of minus 150°C, 300mph winds, and the continuous emission of really intense radiation, it wouldn’t be interesting for very long …. :diablo:

Oh just like a normal day then:D

Just when you think it can’t get any worse….. 🙁

At least we get to see the Christmas Doctor Who 😀

Over Hildenborough Kent today about 2.45pm –

First an invasion striped Spitfire (too far to see better details) followed by a four ship formation of TFC’s P-40, P-39 and Corsair formating behind a modern blue/white twin engine with high T tail.

Any ID on the Spit or the modern aircraft?

Well if its the one I am thinking off then it would of been either Mk.IX PL344 or if its was a grey colour then it would off been Rolls Royce PR.XIX the Modern plane its not a RAF Beech King Air at all?

Mmm The fact that Jupiters a gas giant, you’d have more chance trying to walk on water:D
    Phil

Well not land on Jupiter but to fly in with the clouds and the red spot that would be intresting, I think after Mars all the planets are gas so looks like we have to go to Mercury and get a sun tan  But its funny that its not either been working for two weeks and its already broken down magnet failure 😀

Oh and Dazman Star Wars is A brilliant film 😎

Oh nice the Belgian Air Force F-16 and Patrouille de France are going to be there again, Will we see the F-16 Spitfire flypast again maybe with the Typhoon:cool: I see that the BBMF will be displaying this year wonder if it will be Spitfire ‘The Last’ PS888 flown by the boss? and one other thing is it could also be that last sole hawk display
