I believe they do flypasts if they are on route to a display but not certain.

Could they have been on route to Goodwood I wonder?

    Brian.

Yeah you could be right there , they could of left the Lanc at Goodwood and gone on too flypast or maybe on there way from goodwood did the flypast and met up with the Lanc again. Last year the BBMF made 945 appearances 😮

At About 12:30 I saw in the distance what look like two spitfires ,But I just looked in the local paper and see there is a flypast at a farm where a Battle Of Britian pilot crashed it says Spitfire Hurricane .Just checked the BBMF site its not on there so do the BBMF sometimes do displays without posting it on there site?

James: the first shot in the 3rd batch is indeed a JP (XM470)
The aircraft behind the c-130 is a Tucano it buzzed the tail of the Herc a few times.

Cheers for that Scotty amd I right in saying that XM470 was based in South Africa? Oh yeah you can just make out the RAF crest on the wings. And I just notice there’s a griffin flying with the blue eagles.

Good photos but the Dak photos are particularly nice.

The BBMF web site shows a Dakota display for the 14th of September 2008over the Weald of Kent. Perhaps that was the event.

    Cheers

    Martin

Normal every year the BBMF send a Spitfire & Hurricane to fly over the Weald of Kent on 15th September:rolleyes: I was hoping to see the Dak flyover but never saw it but I did see the Kent Spitfire fly over on its way back to biggin hill from Manston:cool: Great shots there like the Dak pics and the first shot of BBD.

I think it is a Strikemaster, an armed to the teeth version of the Jet Provost?

    Steve

Is that a Jet Provost in the 3rd batch of shots? Nice shots there scotty thanks for posting 😎 anyone know what the aircraft is behind the BAF C-130/ Oh and one other thing is I hear that there will be no sole hawk display next year due to RAF cuts 🙁

Aha, thats their excuse, I don’t understand how, but I’ve heard from several sources that information received will give them better knowledge in learning how to deal with cancer, along with everything else, who knows, perhaps this time next year information received from this mega billion dollar self indulgence will give me a better understanding of why I had only 3 plums on my tree this year.

Oh yeah forgot about the salted peanuts just had a look at list of beers they have got at the East Anglian Railway Museum there see here http://www.essex-camra.org.uk/chappel/2008BeerList.HTM looks good
