Just been on holiday in the New Forest area, spotted a large, low/mid wing 4-engine turboprop on Tuesday (1st.) evening over Lymington, circling round towards Bournmouth area. Looked a bit on the large size for an Electra. Any ideas, anyone ?

Think it could be the based ATP or sometimes RAF Herks pay visit to Hurn.

Did its pre display over detling for the Kent show. Will see it again tomorrow when i go with the family then off to Dx. 🙂

Do you kno what time is due to display?

I hope sally will be on the flightline so there will be a photo opp.

Is that why they took the blue bag off?

Maybe all B-17’s could run there engines on the ground well Sally B could run the ones that work 😎 Anyway I thought lst year there was post saying Pink lady was to be grounded?

Thanks very much for the comments.

    Hi James,
I suppose one went tech. All the formations were flown as an eight ship.

    Hi Paul.
Nikon D2X. Most taken with Nikon Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 VR on and off with 1.4x and 2.0x Nikon teleconverters. I also use a Nikon Nikkor 70-200 now and again.

    Regards

    TJ

You would think they would use the spare aircraft

There’s the old adage that cats don’t have owners, they have staff. And it’s true. A cat will be a pet as long as it suits them. All domestic cats are wild, a fact they hide with a thin veneer of affability with which they suck in unsuspecting humans. A dog will die for you. A cat will just piddle on your corpse and move on. No loyalty to anyone but itself.

If you’re happy taking a cat on knowing that they will happily leave you on a whim that’s fine. But don’t ever expect anything else from them.

If you give a cat TLC they give TLC back. I can’t really say all domestic cats are wild though there are some but you can tell if there wild then domestic . There was a nice Scene out in the back garden the other day are older cat (Ginger Tom) was drinking out of the pond and birds where eating the breed on the grass he saw them but carried on drinking. Now are other cat a young tabby cat well he just a git a lovely git though 😀 He catch’s all sorts but dont eat them he plays with them but if I catch him he gets the hosepipe treatment then does that look like the cat does on sherk 2 . I know its not his thought as thats all part of being a cat nature.
