    I’m sure that’s the case – though does the RAF own them or the MoD?

    Thanks for your concern, flew on G-CELV to BFS from LBA, arrived early, then onto G-EZJX into STN which was also early, then on EI-DCL (DREAMLINER :D) to DUB, also early, and then EI-DHP back to LBA! We really couldn’t have wished for the day to run smoother!

    Are you going to do a trip report tom?

    Nice shots Danny. It amazed me last night when I flew back into LBA. Despite it being the middle of August, it was still cold and blustery!

    It was like this last year at LHR when BA sent tanks to patrol due to a Terrorist plot.I would like too say things but I wont as it might get removed 😡

    Imagine riding a pushbike over a rough field that has bare patches from a lot of use and hot weather, is very dry and hard. Now do this at 60mph and that is what some small airfields feel like in small aeroplane at this time.

    you fillings only hang on by the skin of their teeth!

    Oh right now I get you 😀 Just need it to rain for hours to make the runway softer 😉 do you plain to visit it headcorn again?

    This is the return from one of the Headcorn sorties. Bloody awful landings on both of them. I spent close to seven hours polishing the Beaver on Saturday and the first thing I saw on this pic was oil stains!
    Seconded.

    Melvyn do you own this beaver? :confused:

    Not aiming to be controversial but personally i don’t like it, the 738 looks nicer – just looks like they’ve crammed in an extra few seats and added a few windows. whats the seating capacity? not a patch on the 757 which i presume is its replacement!

    I like the 738 more but this is a nice 737 😎 Is this the Last 737 type to be made now?

    LBARULES certianly would agree, and LBARULES also hopes for nice pointy things on his two Ryanair flights tomorrow!

    Excellent work Lance. I imagine G-CELG has a grey nosecone because that was the first one they could get hold of. G-CELC is also sporting a similar dark grey nosecone at the moment.

    Your flight from STN will have them 😀

    And that’s it! I’m back in Belfast for brief time tomorrow as part of mine and Paul’s mad 4 flight in a day thing!
