Yes he does fly them himself but does not have a booking at Legends.

thats a real shame he cant make 🙁 Does he have anyone who helps him out with his planes?

Hello! First post in this forum! 🙂

I am really rather looking forward to the weekend!

Peter Teichmann doesn’t fly his Hanger 11 Collection birds because he doesnt agree with the way Flying Legends is run apparently. It is a real shame, and I am not sure of the ins and outs of his views, but it would be nice if it could be put to rest and we could have those amazing aircraft participating.

Sadly James none of his aircraft have been booked (FL was not listed on the H11 2006 events), hence why you can’t find them listed! 🙁

I guess finding pilots might have been a problem, but it would have added another Spitfire (the only airworthy MKXI btw), Mustang and the only P40 in Europe to the roster! :confused:

Roobarb, I was going to mention the absence of the TRIX’s, as it seems a crying shame they aren’t allowed to take part anymore. 😡

Still, it keeps the ‘Oh no, not more Spitfires’ brigade happy I’m sure! :p

I’ve seen them over Sampford, last year they were nesting near Spains Hall, if you read one of my previous posts, there were 2 Buzzards over Finchingfield the other day, now that it is wierd.

Buzzards over Essex 😮 wow that is rare but its great news they are making a come back to these parts off the UK.

Thats good seeing two Buzzards over here I have never seen a Scarlet tiger moth before I must look out tonight 🙂 I would like too see Red Kites over here in the SE of England

That is the French Morane fighter, not the Suprise.

I hope the suprice will be a german fighter like Me 262 😎 But most likley it will be the Zero.

I am looking forward to getting to Duxford tomorow, new digital SLR and a bunch of memery cards 6 gb’s 😀 (of course I have my laptop, since 6 gb’s wont last the hole day) Last year I took 3000 pictures on Saterday alone.

On Saturday Lanc/Hurricane/Spitfire are displaying at Yeovilton, Duxford isn’t the only event on this weekend for us The Hurri / Spit will arrive tomorrow, the Dak on Sat and the Lanc will display on Sun but will not be landing

Just look on the BBMF site and i see the spitfires will be very busy this weekend aswel as FL.

Simon, that is one nice looking Yak 52 there how much does it cost run and is it easy to fly as i would like one day:) and paint it in RAF colours 😀

Sad state of affairs..

14 Spitfires + 1 Seafire

Only 2 Hurricanes, would have been 3 but for the American sale !!.. Which Aircraft shot down more enemy aircraft than any other defence system?? ..

Are the BBMF not flying both there Hurricanes at FL or is one flying wit a spitfire around the country doing random things flypast etc?

Not sure about the ‘Aerostars’, though! :confused:

The Aerostars are a classic 😉 and there Yak 50 and Yak 52 are classed as warbirds now 😎 so they should be there really.
