    hi all

was out enjoying the beautiful weather today, and looked up at a large 4 engined aircraft overlfying Loughborough, which is a few miles from NEMA. im not very good at guessing altitudes, but i think it was no more than 20000 ft.

it was unlike any other aircraft i have ever seen – the engines were enormous, the fuselage was thick, fairly stumpy, and was all white, except for the rear fuselage which was blue.

i was with a couple of like minded aviation friends, and we all think it was the A380.

it was around 4:30 and heading roughly in the NEMA direction.

anyone listening to the airwaves or know if the aircraft was in the area today?

    have i seen the A380?

    any help would be great

    thanks

    Whats NEMA?

Did you take a picture off it.

🙁 Man this is bad news I will miss seeing their HS748’s! Will Air Contractors’ ATR aircraft take up the Mail routes like they did with the Channel express service from BOH to the Channel Islands with the F27.

What kinda planes would be used? Largest normaly flying out of ORF now is a Delta 757 once a day……..FedEx has a couple of 727s going out every morning. But really….there just isnt all that much here…….unless your military……..BTW……I’v noticed a white civil registered SA-330 Puma flying over Norfolk for the last couple of days……..unusual bird for this area…..any idea who operates it?

I heard somewhere that Monarch might do the Charter flights.
