Though the RN do give a degree of financial support, it certainly isn’t on the same scale as the BBMF.

Swordfish LS326 hasn’t flown for several years now, and W5856’s last season was in 2003. Both aircraft have been grounded since then due to suspected corrosion in the wing main spars. Work has concentrated on LS326, which has been completely re-wired in the meantime, and the engine currently fitted to W5856 will be fitted to LS326 later this year when the wings have been returned from Brough where they have been completely refurbished thanks to BAES. W5856’s wings will follow suit.

More details on the Flight can be found at the website.

Thank you for the information Lee,So we hope we might see the swordfish fly next year.

All the best on the RNHF

Being in the heart of the city is an advantage? London is a dump.

The Goverment has turned the whole off the UK into a dump.

yeah mate there are at least five subways in the city.

Sorry mate I mean the new food retailer thats starting to come over here http://www.subway.co.uk/

Please mate – we’re talking a snack -not some heavily overpriced fine cuisine three course meal that costs in the region £80-110s.

I’m not gonna add my twopeneth to the NCL rant mind – sure it probably should have a nice simple cheapy food shop, but I never been so I cant comment really.

Glad to see that i’m not the only one who reckons LCY rocks!

Well yeah LCY does rock but that because its in the heart off the city so there will be lots of snack shops or cafe’s.

Is there any subways in newcastle?
