How is that??? The USSR is no more and many Eastern European Countries (Poland for example) are in the Western Camp. Clearly, they’re not going to be purchasing much if any Russian Equipment. Plus, add Middle Eastern Countries like Iraq to that. Inadditon what about India to boot! Honestly the market for the F-35 is going to be extremely good in the next 20-30 years plus………

My point is not only about Rafale heat/smoke but it is underpowerd so it needs that full afterburner for take off & empty low altitude flight performance. it is only enhanced by fast playback of the video.

Tall buildings dont make place wealthy. It could be completely ghetto or built on loans

And so where the other aircraft I mentioned. There’s no doubt that the programme was/is expensive, so why are you saying the Typhoon should have had everything when it was introduced? If you can answer that while taking everything into account, requirements, training, budget, R&D, costs, roles of other aircraft so on and so forth, you might start getting a bit of respect.

so lets take more complex aircraft like F-22. it is introduced with AESA radar, internal bays, TVC with IR suppression, largest thrust, steatlh so it is understandable it is going to cost alot more but basic things are already there. EF cannot be compared with such complexity. It is more comparable to J-10 development. and there is videos of short take off run of J-10 showing how light weight the fighter is.

Upgrades cost a lot for any programme, granted it progress has been mind numbingly slow, up until now that is, nevertheless, the upgrades and enhancements aren’t minor.

I asked you two questions regarding costs and how significant these enhancements and upgrades are, you’ve failed to provide anything.

You still have the same basic engine and radar and no CFT. so there is no fundamental difference. so all your upgrades are minor. no heavy jamming pods, there is not heavy 5 cruise missiles certified. nor any supersonic standoff weopons.

I said there alot of radar manufacturers it means atleast they can make older tech M scan radars. and seeing how Chinese perfect low end of the stuff as they make more of them. (see F-7 aka MIG-21 example). it is reasonable to assume that Chinese M scan radars will be better.
